I love to create beautiful things that invite connection and dialogue.

I’ve been an artist throughout my life. Art allows me to express myself in a way words never could.  Long before I ever touched clay, I had this dream of creating the beautiful objects in my home with my own hands instead of buying them from someone else.

Many years later, I found ceramics and was completely hooked. It felt like finding a language I’d been looking for. Suddenly I could make art, tell stories, and create the everyday objects I wanted to live with. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to fill my own home, and the homes of friends and family, with pieces I’ve made myself, bringing that early dream to life.

As I explored my current medium and continued learning new techniques, something unexpected happened. Friends and family began to connect with the work I was making. A few purchased pieces, and many encouraged me to share what I was creating and that support continued to grow. Seeing others find meaning, beauty, or connection in something I made has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

I’m still working on pieces for my own home, and honestly, I probably always will be. At the same time, my practice has grown to include conversation-driven work, storytelling pieces, and installations that explore memory and connection. I can’t imagine doing anything else with my time. No matter the scale or purpose, everything starts the same way - with curiosity, a lump of clay, and the simple joy of making something that didn’t exist before.
